We’re Taking Over Santa Monica: HACKERHOUS @ BLANKSPACES

Building a startup is lonely work. Whether you’re debugging code at 3 AM or trying to figure out supply chain logistics for a new clothing line, the founder journey can feel like you’re on an island. But islands are for vacations, not for building empires.

That’s why we are excited to announce our latest collaboration move. Schmoozd launched HACKERHOUS community at BLANKSPACES, our first-ever dedicated event spot for innovators, creators, and future-makers!

For those unfamiliar with Schmoozd, it’s one of the largest and longest-running (since 2009) offline networking events for tech professionals in Los Angeles, boasting 30,000 email subscribers.

We aren’t just throwing parties (though, let’s be honest, we know how to host); we are building a launchpad right in the heart of Santa Monica.

The OG Meets the New Wave

If you know the LA coworking scene, you know BLANKSPACES. They are the absolute OGs. As the first and longest-running coworking space in Southern California, they’ve been setting the standard for shared workspaces way before it was cool. With nine locations and counting, they know exactly what builders need to thrive.

We’re taking that legacy and injecting it with the HACKERHOUS spirit. By setting up shop at BLANKSPACES Santa Monica, we are creating a physical hub where your “what if” turns into “what’s next.”

From AI Overlords to Lipstick Lines

Here’s the thing about “tech” hubs, they can get a little… exclusive. If you aren’t building a SaaS platform, you often get left out of the conversation.
